Week 5 - QB Sacks

The STAT OF THE WEEK feature highlights the one stat contributing most points to the victory.

The Houston Texans suffered their own special kind of hurricane as the Tennessee Titans flooded their backfield. Seven sacks is a bit much. Especially compared to the absolute absence of one sack by the Texans' D.

The difference between the two team performances contributed 23.5 big points to the Titans' 14-point win. They coulda' won by more.

As the Texans' graphic shows, the offensive sack has been a problem all season. Five games, each well over league average. Absolutely not competitive football.
