Bucs at Packers

Packers played a strong game vs Rams last week. Both their passing and running game were in top form. Bucs defenese took advantage of 4 Saint giveaways to earn their shot at the Packers. Slim chance they'll repeat that this week in Green Bay.

Packers led the league in points scored and several other offensive categories. Taking care of the football helps lead to points scored--it maximizes chances. They lead the league in fewest interceptions thrown, pictured in the chart below.

Passed had Intercepted - Green Bay Packers

Note all the weeks with zero interceptions thrown. Wow. One INT just 3 times and only one game with 2. Unlikely the Bucs will grab 3 as they did in the Saints game. How do you stop the Packers? I'm not so sure it can be done. Can the Bucs outscore the Packers? Perhaps but they'll have to be near perfect to do it. Good thing the Brady magic is still there.

Our computer favors the Packers by 6 points. I'm always skeptical about warm-weather teams (like last week's L. A. Rams) playing in Green Bay. But Brady has a long history in the northeast so this is nothting new to him. He just keeps re-writing records. I see this Packers' squad as too good to stop. Green Bay to the Super Bowl.
