Ravens at Titans
The two 11-5 teams meet in Tennessee. It's an interesting matchup in that both teams possess run-oriented offenses.
In fact, they are the number 1 and 2 ranked teams for number of rushing attempts at 34.7 for Ravens and 32.6 for Titans.
If you enjoy old-fashioned, "run the ball" football like I do, this is the weekend game for you.
On the defensive side, the Ravens have the stronger defense with the Titans pass D being an area of concern. But if the Titans running game is
in gear it can help keep their defense off the field. Looking at the Ravens league-leading rushing attempts stat we see how their ball-control game
wins for them. Their rushing attempts stat is pictured in the graph below. Note that 3 of their 5 losses came when they didn't or couldn't run the ball.
