Commanders at Buccaneers

The 12-5 Commanders take on the 10-7 Tampa Bay Bucs on Sunday. Not much to separate the two teams in the way of stats. The Bucs do a darn good job of making yardage with an average figure near 400 yards per game, ranking behind only the Ravens. That's good company.

On pass offense, Bucs, rank 7th, a bit stronger than the Commanders at 10th. Killer Stat, Offense.

Bucs do not rank so well on defense, at 17th while Washington comes in a respectable 5th. See both teams on the defensive side of our Killer Stat, (Yards per Pass attempt) chart. Killer Stat, Defense.

Our computer likes Tampa Bay at home by 5.5 after including 3 points for the home field. I don't quite see it although the Commanders better record includes wins over some of the weakest teams. While the Bucs managed to beat the Lions, Eagles and Chargers. I remember last season the computer beat me badly on the TB picks. I'll defer and go with our computer and the Bucs in this one.
