Panthers' Defense vs Patriots' Offense

In the previous feature we discussed the Patriots' defensive advantage on Yards per Play. With the Panthers on defense the shoe is on the other foot. They have the advantage of 4.1 points over the modest Patriot offense.

Additionally, the blue trend line shows as the season progressed the Panthers got stronger. The Pats' offense is not that strong. In fact the blue trend line shows that their average performance, year-to-date was never stronger than league average. Compare the two charts below.
