Titans at Patriots
The Tennessee Titans are suffering with an untimely case of the
walking wounded. QB Steve McNair is ankle bit and Rb Eddie George is
feeling' puny.
With their passing efficiency hurting the Titans will have to get
lucky to defeat Coach of the Year Bill Belichick. During the season
the Patriot's defense stole almost 2 interceptions per game (NFL leaders). By
comparison the Titan's offense lost less than one errant pass.

One interception costs more than 6 points in the scoring
differential. If McNair's injury weakens his passing ability then
add 6+ points to the Pat's victory.
And if the ankle hinders McNair's scrambling ability each Qb sack
costs 3 points.
It will be a cold day in New England for the Tennessee Titans.
The computer sees Patriots over Titans by 3 1/2. But one
extra sack or one extra INT and the Pat's score gets top heavy.
