Bengals at Colts

The second AFC matchup of Wildcard Weekend pits the Bengals against the Colts in Indianapolis. The Colts own a strong passing game earning 7.09 Yards per Pass Attempt, ranking 5th. See chart below.

The Bengals bring a strong ground game. Rushing the ball 30.75 times per game, they rank 5th in the league. See chart below.

So this game will come down to air vs ground performances. The air attack of the Colts or the ground attack of the Bengals. Whichever team can use their strength to best advantage will come out on top. The computer sees the teams in a near-even stat matchup but with a homefield edge of 3 points to the Colts they come out as 3.88-point favorites. I'll take the Bengals in an upset.
