Packers at Cardinals

Packers beat Washington and travel to Phoenix to take on the Cards. We didn't think they could but a great defensive performance did it. Racking up 6 sacks for 59 yards was the game winner. Can they repeat that kind of performance against the league-leading pass offense? Arizona and QB Palmer earned 7.84 yards per pass attempt. Our rule of thumb is that 8 gets you to the Super Bowl. Packers will need a great defensive performance. Even in the Redskins contest their passing attack put up modest stats. We'll repeat the chart for yards per pass attempt, updated with the playoff game. No magic hat and no rabbit here. There is something seriously wrong with a team that goes from first to last in one season on the most important independent stat in the game.

The computer hates the Packs' stat profile and makes them 11-point dogs vs the high-powered Cards. I've got to agree.
