Bills at Jaguars

This is one of those wildcard games where a team that squeaks in looks overmatched. Buffalo Bills were a decidedly average team, giving up more points than they scored over the season. Their strength is a sound rushing game, their weakness is their passing offense.

By contrast, Jags look solid. Jags were, at several points in the season, listed as our top contender for the Super Bowl pick from the AFC. They feature an all-around stout defense. They led the league on our killer stat defense, yards per pass allowed. That's a tough matchup draw for the Bills' modest passing game to face.

2017 through Week 17

Our computer confirms the one-sided matchup, picking the Jags at home by 14.5 points. The Jags may be one of those "under the radar" SB contenders. I also expect a convincing Jags' win but the game may be a bit closer as the clock winds down quickly when two run-oriented teams play. Both Jags (1st) and Bills (5th) put up big stats on total number of rushes. Good, old-fashioned football in Jacksonville this Sunday.
