Buccaneers at Lions

Tampa Bay beat an Eagles team that performed like their second half of the season record -- not the first half. The Bucs are a pretty good football team when they can move the ball.

On offense, Bucs, rank 10th, a bit lower than the Lions at 3rd. Killer Stat, Offense.

Bucs do not rank well on defense, at 24th, but they better the Lions at rank 30th. See both teams on the defensive side of our Killer Stat, (Yards per Pass attempt) chart. Killer Stat, Defense.

Lions squeaked by a Rams team that is probably a bit better than their record. But the same has to be said for the Buccaneers. On paper this looks like the most even matchup of the weekend.

Our computer beat me again getting it right on Tampa Bay in the wildcard game. But, it likes the Lions at home by 5.5, including 3 points for the home field. I'll go with the computer, it's dominating me so far.
