Giants at Packers

The Giants take on QB Rodgers at chilly Green Bay on Sunday. Giants bring a stout defense to face a surging Packers' pass attack. After a poor start, going 5-6 through a good part of season, Green Bay turned it around winning their last 6. Note the season-long improvement in our key killer stat, Yards per Pass Attempt for Green Bay in the chart below. Under league average most of the season the late flourish pushed them over it by week 16. They are peaking at the right time.

However, they face a serious challenge against the Giants, one of the top defenses this season. See our Killer Stat, Defense chart where Giants rank 7th. While on the chart, notice the GB defense lies near the bottom, rank 30th.

In the QB contest of Manning vs Rodgers, Rodgers has the tougher task. The computer gives the Packers a 2-point edge, allowing for a 3-point homefield advantage. I'll take the Giants.
