Ravens at Bengals

In another matchup of division rivals, the Ravens take on the Bengals in Cincinnati. They met just last week with the Bengals coming out on top to cap an 8-game win streak. In an early season meeting, the Ravens won.

Have a look at the weekly Predict Report, which includes a stat matchup table at the bottom of the page. Bengals have a slight edge in the passing game while the Ravens run the ball better.

Here we see our key passing offense stat, killer stat, offense, where Bengals rank 10th and Ravens 17th.

And on pass defense, the Bengals also garner a slight edge: killer stat, defense. Bengals rank 12th and Ravens 19th. So an overall, offense minus defense, advantage to Bengals.

The Ravens bring a solid rushing game and that gives them their best chance to stay in the game -- run the ball, move the sticks and keep the ball away from the potent Cincy offense. While the Bengals do look like one of the stronger teams this week, Ravens are no pushover and using their run game, could keep this close.

Our computer likes the Bengals at home by 6.5 including 3 for playing on their home field. I'll go along based on Cincy's solid win streak but would not be surprised to see it end up being a closer contest. Ravens have a chance to surprise.
